About me
When I was 10-years-old I saw the old Tony Curtis Houdini biopic on television. From that moment on, I wanted to learn everything I could about this amazing man. It turned into a life-long pursuit.
Today, I write the popular blog, Wild About Harry (www.wildabouthoudini.com), which has amassed nearly 20 million page views. I consult on Houdini projects for stage, television, and film. I've also worked closely with magicians, collectors, and major Houdini archives. In 2023, I was honored with the Milbourne Christopher Ambassador of Magic Award for my contributions to the art of magic and study of Houdini. I also received the New England Magic Collectors Association Founders Award in 2025. While I've had a large online presence, my true dream has always been to write Houdini books.
My first book, Escaping Obscurity: The Travel Diary of Harry Houdini 1897-1899, was released in 2025 by Mike Caveney’s Magic Words. My current project is The Ultimate Houdini Chronology, a three-volume set of books that follow Houdini's life week by week, escape by escape.
Wild About Harry PRESS is where I will be selling my books. I can't wait to share with you the amazing story of Houdini. Because I'm wild about Harry! And so are you.
