I spent this morning working on my International shipping options, and I'm happy to share that I've added DHL Worldwide Express. Shopify gets discounts from most shippers, and DHL's International rate appears to be the best. It's still darn expensive! But it's not the cost of a book or more, as can be the case.
At checkout, you'll see the top three or four services and rates for your area, and you can choose the one that works best for you. I don't add any handling costs or markup. Shopify will automatically calculate and show you the best rate. I know International shipping is murder these days. Hopefully this helps!
